Sunflower Inn B&B and Area Activites

Sunflower Inn B&B pond

Just behind the property is an abandoned railway right-of-way that has been converted into a trail, in spring time lined with trilliums from pure white to dark pink, wild bleeding hearts, and flowering dogwood trees.  The Inn's dog will keep you company and will chase any rabbit or duck that comes to his attention (but he has never caught one … )

Sunflower Inn wildflowers

The wildflower reserve, a few minutes' drive from the Sunflower Inn, presents a dazzling variety of shooting stars, camus, several varieties of lilies, and many more. The Cowichan River Trail, now a provincial park, offers beautiful hiking opportunities and many swimming holes for a refreshing summer dip in the river.
